After 40 years of top-down negotiations, accords, and summits, Israelis and Palestinians are still at war. The time has come for a new approach.

On October 18, 2007, hundreds of thousands of Israelis and Palestinians, along with international supporters in the US, Canada, and Europe, will unite for a People’s Summit – an unprecedented event which will highlight the moderate majorities on both sides and give platform to their commitment to end the conflict.

Via simultaneous summits in Jericho and Tel Aviv, satellite-linked internationally, the People will stand up together, sending a firm message to the political leadership: Sit down and negotiate a two state solution. We demand this of you, and we are behind you.

Enough setbacks, enough excuses, enough failures – it’s time the moderate majority joins together to announce itself as a powerful force in the conflict resolution process:

We are One Million Voices to End the Conflict.
