  1. Imaginatively put – keep writing, and keep thinking. As Hitler had put it:

“First, those who believe everything they read; Second, those who no longer believe anything; Third, those who critically examine what they read and form their judgments accordingly”

The “Third” types are the best! And too darn few of them around!

  2. Sorry, couldn’t find any contact details:

    Hi,

I’ve added your blog to GreenFeed at http://www.greenfeed.org.uk/feeds/

GreenFeed checks blog RSS feeds every 30 minutes and acts a central site to read dozens of notable Green blogs (I also send headlines to Twitter).

If I haven’t yet uploaded a picture of you, or you don’t like the one I have, can you send me a new one?

Also, please consider linking to GreenFeed from your blog.

I hope you find it useful.

    Cheers,
    Gordon Hodgson

  3. Hello!

I am just writing because I thought you might like to look at this funny video that has been produced for Earth Day by Sky. It’s called “Frogmen go Frogmobbing” and aims to draw attention to rising sea levels. Just go to: http://www.earthdaycounts.co.uk and click on the right hand button. If you like this then I could also give you some FTP details to download it yourself.

Happy to chat more about this more if you are interested?

    Cheers,
    Natasha

  4. Airing today is an interview with David Friedman of the Anti-Defamation League on the rise of cyber-based antisemitism and its role in the wake of the financial crisis. David Friedman is the second guest on “Faith Complex,” a Georgetown University production in conjunction with the Washington Post’s “On Faith” section. “Faith Complex” is a dialogue about the entanglement of religion and politics hosted by Professor Jacques Berlinerblau of the Program for Jewish Civilization and produced by Professor Tom Banchoff of Georgetown’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs.

The video is available here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/video/2009/05/27/VI2009052701379.html

Upcoming guests will include proponent of secular Islam Abdullahi An-Naim and Father Thomas Reese discussing the Obama administration and the Catholic community.

We feel that this week’s episode, as well as the series as a whole, is relevant to your blog, and we would greatly appreciate your sharing of this video with your members and community via posting it on your website. We look forward to hearing feedback from you as well on the content of the show.

Please share this clip with those you feel would be interested, and feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or recommendations!

    Many thanks,
    Jonathan Cohn
    Co-Producer/Account Executive, Faith Complex

  5. Why is this blog on GreenFeed? you arent a member of the Green party, have no common principles with us, and you are some weirdo C.Hitchens-loving warfreak. so fuck off.

  6. Yes, I’m a member of the Green Party. And you need to stop talking about “us” as if the Greens were the Socialist Worker Party.
    “Hitchens loving warfreak” – where?
P.S. Is that you, Caroline Lucas?

  7. Also Denim Justice – a member of the Green Party added flesh without prompting so what is your fucking problem?

  8. Hello!

215 events are taking place in the UK on Monday as part of 1500+ worldwide to send a massive wake-up call to world leaders meeting in New York next week to try to salvage flagging climate talks.

If you want to know more about Global details or about some great examples of events around the world please get in touch with me.

See full map of events: http://www.avaaz.org/en/tcktcktck_map/

    Best wishes,
    Emmanuelle

  9. Flesh, you can probably do some form of IP search on Denim Justice via WordPress, then use an online IP whois tool to see which university PC lab they’re using.

  10. Hey, was just wondering do you have a feed that gives full post content rather than just summaries? I only ask, as it would work better with the newly updated GreenFeed.

    Cheers,
    Gordon
