Yahoo handed over private details to Chinese prosecutors about the imprisoned Chinese democracy campaigner Shi Tao which resulted in his imprisonment. Shi Tao is now pursuing legal action against Yahoo. One to watch.
Action? Never recommend using any Web 2.0 software without emphasising the implications of conducting part of your life online via third parties. Also not to take for granted our privacy and intellectual freedom.
